Compact and rugged, XG5051 Gigabit Ethernet Tester is handheld test set for 10M/100M/1000M Ethernet installation and maintenance. With the functions of network test, data packet sniffing, traffic generator, cable test and BER test combined into one unit, it is widely used in testing BER of layer1, layer2, layer3, and RFC-2544. It can help the front-line field workers to analyze the network quality and locate the fault rapidly.
1. Basic Functions
- Support single electrical port (RJ45) and single optical port (SFP) with rate at 10/100/1000Mbps
- Full RFC2544 benchmark test: Throughput, frame loss rate, latency, back-to-back
- Single and multi stations traffic generator
- Supports traffic filtration statistic at the receiver end
- Support VLAN test functions
- Connectivity test: PING, TRACE ROUTE, ARP SCAN, etc
- Support through, terminal mode test and frame length, frame type, and utilization stat.
- Optical power test, and optical module temperature, working current, voltage test, etc
- Cable VCT: capable of identifying short circuit, open circuit, cable length fault location, etc
